Seller's Notes:A fully authenticated Lane Perception end table with complete maker's documentation — Lane Furniture stamp on drawer interior and underside, Style No. 1024-05. The Perception collection, produced from 1961 to 1967, was Lane Furniture's most Scandinavian-influenced line, designed as a direct response to the Danish modern aesthetic reshaping American interiors in the early 1960s. The two-tier format presents a richly figured walnut top with softly rounded corners, a single drawer with Lane's signature sculptural oval pull in solid walnut, and a lower display shelf. Clean tapered legs complete the silhouette. Lane's advertising described Perception as "sculpture in wood" — tops with "huge, undisturbed expanses of rich gunstock walnut" and legs with "not a single sharp edge or corner visible anywhere." This table delivers on that promise. The Perception collection is actively collected alongside Lane's Acclaim and Staccato lines and consistently commands strong secondary market interest. Fully labeled examples like this one are among the most desirable. Works as an end table, nightstand, or accent table in any MCM or contemporary space. Dimensions: 21w 27.75d 20h Condition: age appropriate wear, vintage finish worn, scuffs/scratches, edge wear, discoloration, interior marks, see photos.
