Seller's Notes:An authentic Harry Bertoia Bird Chair for Knoll, featuring its iconic sculptural wire-frame construction and original orange-red Tomato upholstered ultrasuede cover. Designed by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, the Bird Chair is one of the most recognizable pieces of American mid-century modern furniture. Its dramatically curved silhouette combines a polished chrome wire structure with a low, enveloping lounge seat. Authenticity This is an authentic Knoll-produced chair, produced in 2014. Knoll identification is present on the chair, including branding on the chrome structure and a Knoll label on the upholstered Ultrasuede cover. Condition Pre-owned. The chair remains structurally sound and presents beautifully overall. The upholstered cover shows visible wear from use, including several small marks and areas of wear, as well as tears/openings at the upper rear corners where portions of the chrome frame are visible. Please review all photographs carefully for condition. The chrome wire frame presents very well overall.

The Bird Chair is an astounding study in space, form and function by one of the master sculptors of the last century.
