In 1928 it was an international sensation. Nothing like it existed at the time, and its iconic form proves to be effortlessly contemporary as the decades roll by. Originally known as the B32, the chair was later renamed “the Cesca” after Marcel Breuer’s daughter, Francesca. Tubular steel frame inspired by that of a bicycle. A comfortable cantilever design.
