Seller's Notes:Designed in 1913 in the Wiener Werkstatte, the chairs continue to be made by their original manufacturer, Wittmann in Austria. They are extremely comfortable with a smallish profile but tall and short people seem equally comfortable in them. They are sold and displayed in the NEUE GALLERIE as well as by dealer M2L. I had these covered in mohair which has been rubbed away or stained in several small spots on ONE of the chair's seats. There are a few scratches on the dark wood legs which could easily be fixed. They are structurally strong and overall, quite beautiful and elegant. New, one chair sells for $5,000 and up depending on fabric. Recovering these chairs is very much worth it!!!
