Seller's Notes:This is the first Japanese piece of furniture that I bought (25 years ago) from Eastern Classics in Oakland, CA. This was a one unique piece, not found anywhere else, neither then and certainly not now. The glass on top can be removed to clean the wooden pattern below. The scratches and cracks are part of this piece's charm, and indeed the large crack you see in one of the pictures was already originally there 25 years ago. Although we liked its old original look, if the color disuniformity that you see in the pictures is not for you, you can easily fix it in 10 minutes with some sandpaper. This coffee table has been with me for almost three decades, I personally love it, and the only reason why I am selling it is because we may soon move overseas and therefore we are getting rid of the heavy furniture.
