Seller's Notes:Absolutely love this headboard and base combination just doesn’t work with our new apartment design. Headboard works with ANY size mattress/base and has great side (adjustable!) shelves and small storage bins. No need for a night stand unless you feel like it. Great for books, e-readers, magazines, tablets etc. They even have a small notched space for charging wires and each side shelf comes with a highly absorbent grey mat. Here we have the queen size bed base (slated wood) with under bed storage. Large drawers that have a lot of space and extend far out (as shown in photos) Headboard in perfect condition (including shelf grey mats) only scratching on top of bed base from our previous box spring. Can be covered with your mattress/box spring. Headboard comes in two pieces and attaches to the wall. Base separate free floating.

Ample storage space is hidden neatly under the bed in 6 large drawers. Perfect for storing duvets, pillows and bed linen. Soft-closing drawers run smoothly, slowly and silently. Storage in the headboard saves space and makes it easier to access boxes or drawers under the bed; and it’s easier to vacuum too. The soft felt pad absorbs sound, protects from scratches and keeps small items in place. You can choose where to position the boxes and shelves since they easily slot into the headboard’s grooves. You can hide cables for lamps and chargers by feeding them through the holes at the back of the shelf. You decide the height of the headboard since it needs to be mounted to the wall.
