Seller's Notes:1st Generation Eiffel Tower Chair in black. While refining the design of their molded shell chairs, Charles and Ray Eames began experimenting with bent and welded wire. The resulting Wire Chair (1951) borrows the shell shape but reimagines the form in strands of steel. Each seat features two gauges of the material, a mixture that adds strength and will last forever. The price is for the chair only without seat cushion.
