HAY AAC22 armchair in Azure Blue purchased from Design Within Reach. Originally intended for use as an office chair due to its comfort (the seat is molded), it was not actually utilized and has been sitting unused in storage since.
Now made with 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, the About A Chair (2009), designed by Hee Welling for HAY, began with a desire to tell a story about a chair and quickly became one of the bestselling collections in Scandinavia. With its gently curved, comfortable seat and sculptural wood base, the AAC 22 Armchair offers pleasing proportions and a quietly elegant aesthetic. Made in Mexico.
