Seller's Notes:I purchased it in Western Turkey while traveling in 1997. I have the Certificate of Origin confirming it's handmade and purchased in Turkey in 1997. It is doppel (double) knotted. I cut off the fringe when the fringe was getting too difficult to keep clean. Otherwise it is in excellent condition Rug has always been in a low traffic area--namely a bedroom, and little exposure to daylight. I'd keep it except it doesn't fit in my new apartment.
