The solid iron daybed is in extraordinary shiny condition considering age, with minor rust as part of its charm. Doesn't have corrosion, paint, or lacquers like the vast majority of similar models on the internet. The bed frame is foldable and has working caster wheels, easy to fold down for storage and transportation. When opened, the bed's sides interlock and make it very sturdy. No tools are required for assembly. There are no indications or marks that confirm its date and place of origin. However, because of its construction, it's speculated to be dated back to the mid-19th century or early 20th century and made by iron artisans. Important note - Sale is for the iron bed frame only; No mattress, foams, pillows, and such come with this product. Inside space for a mattress is approximately 44 in by 75 in.
