Seller's Notes:Vintage Eames/Herman Miller fiberglass shell armchair, upholstered with loose cushion. This is a rare version of the shell chair made in the 1970s with a tiltable/reclining and swivel base. The base also adjusts in height from a seat height ~15" to a seat height ~17". The upholstery has some markings/stains on it. The bases are in good vintage condition with some patina consistent with age. (See photos.) The price is for the pair of chairs. Note that retail link is for the most similar version of this chair currently available, but the listing is for rare vintage version with a tiltable base which is no longer available from herman miller.
