Seller's Notes:Gorgeous and classic midcentury modern desk designed by famed designer Jens Risom and produced exclusively by Design Within Reach. Risom conceived of The Risom Desk in 1968 as a small-space solution. Crafted with a solid North American walnut wood frame and topped with stain-resistant forest green leather, it includes a drawer with removable wood tray to organize desk accessories. The desk is in good condition and ready for its next owner. It’s something we thought we’d hold on to forever but we don’t have a place for it anymore.
Originally designed for his own home, Jens Risom conceived of The Risom Desk (1968) as a small-space solution. “It's really a writing surface,” said Risom. Crafted with a solid wood frame and topped with stain-resistant leather, It includes a drawer with removable wood tray to organize desk accessories.
