Sporting a wonderfully unexpected dual-plank tabletop united by metal pegs, the sturdy Gather Table (2016) features a core of warp- and crack-resistant solid poplar finished with thick wood veneer. Solid walnut or oak banding that runs the length of the table and solid end-grain to cap off each plank protect edges from chairs.
