Seller's Notes:This table was hand built in 2016 in Brazzaville, Congo - Each stool is a different Congolese wood. The stools (8) all have different weights and densities. The table is approximately 50" inches tall and 50" inches wide. It is an octagon table originally made for a poker room but used as a dining and hosting table as well when it traveled to Brazil with us. The price includes all the stools, including the specially made grey one in the first photo that is not reinforced like the others. The grey one is made from a very unique Congolese wood that is very dense and unique to the region, as it has this natural grey color. Each stool is 24 inches tall. The three “characters” surrounding the base of the table are called “Les Diplomates” and are three statues holding a briefcase, smoking pipe, canes, and carved wearing suits. Each “Diplomat” is a different animal: (1) Elephant Diplomat, (1) Rhino Diplomat, and (1) Hippo Diplomat.
