Seller's Notes:Original Maralunga 3-seater sofa designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in the 1970s. Owned and loved for 10+ years. The sofa needs upholstery but the mechanics and structure of the sofa are in excellent condition.
One-of-a-kind design: a backrest that can easily be folded to sit high or low depending if you want to sit upright or lay back. The mechanics are in the use of a bike chain wrapped around the foam backrest.
Truly a special piece.
Its enveloping contours accentuate the comfort of this design sofa, ensured by the chain mechanism (incorporated into the foam cushion) that controls adjustment of the backrest position.
