Crafted from polypropylene using advanced air-moulding technology, the SKIN chair offers impressive durability while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Designed with functionality in mind, the SKIN chair is stackable up to six chairs high and features highly resistant, interchangeable feet. These qualities make it well suited for both indoor and outdoor use, as well as easy storage. These particular chairs were originally purchased by Chef Alfred Portale—celebrated chef, cookbook author, restaurateur, and three-time James Beard Award winner—for use at his namesake restaurant, Portale. They were retired when the restaurant permanently closed its outdoor patio dining area. The chairs show signs of normal wear consistent with professional use, but they remain structurally sound with many years of life ahead. Visible imperfections may include scuff marks, small dents, and abrasion around the feet. The photos provided illustrate representative examples of wear; each chair is unique and displays its own individual pattern of weathering.
