Broyhill Emphasis Mid-Century Dresser or Chest

Product details

Seller's Notes:This Broyhill Emphasis gentleman’s chest offers several types of storage in one piece. Three wide drawers on the lower left provide room for folded clothing and linens, while five narrower drawers on the right help keep smaller items organized. Above the wide drawers, two cabinet doors open to reveal three separate compartments divided vertically. The front has plenty of character, with four rounded rectangular panels across the cabinet doors and elongated sculpted pulls on every drawer. The curves soften the chest’s straight lines, and the warm brown finish gives it an easy connection to other wood furniture. A shaped frame runs around the front and extends into tapered legs. That raised base leaves visible space beneath the chest, balancing the broad case above. The arrangement of wide drawers, narrow drawers, and cabinet doors also gives the piece a more varied appearance than a standard dresser. Use it as a main bedroom dresser, additional storage in a dressing area, or a cabinet for linens and accessories in a guest room. The divided upper section keeps items grouped separately, while the drawers below and alongside it provide enclosed storage in two widths. The top can hold a table lamp, a tray for everyday items, or a few framed photographs. Paired with a simple bed frame, upholstered chair, or contemporary artwork, the chest brings mid-century detail into a room without requiring a fully coordinated furniture set Dimensions: 54w 19d 43.5h Condition: age appropriate wear, vintage finish worn, scuffs and scratches, edge wear, discoloration, interior marks, veneer chips, see photos.
