Seller's Notes:This is a gorgeous antique secretary desk that has been a cherished part of my family for years. It's a classic piece with a drop-down front that opens up to a functional desk space, complete with several small cubbies and drawers for organization. The wood has a beautiful deep reddish-brown color, and the front drawers have a lovely curvy shape. It stands on detailed "claw and ball" feet, which give it a lot of character. The brass handles and keyholes are all original and have a nice vintage patina. This desk is perfect for a home office, a living room, or even a cozy bedroom nook. It provides plenty of storage space and a convenient writing area when needed. It's sturdy and has been well-cared for. There are some minor signs of age, like a few small scratches or a little discoloration, but these are just part of its history.
