Seller's Notes:A genuine antique American two-drawer stand in solid mahogany from the Federal to early Victorian period, circa 1820–1850. The piece presents all the hallmarks of authentic pre-industrial American hand craftsmanship: hand-cut drawer joinery, solid old-growth mahogany throughout, ring-turned legs with ball feet, and original oval brass ring pulls with period-appropriate patination. The form follows the classic Federal work stand format — compact rectangular case, two full-width drawers, four slender turned legs — that was produced by American cabinetmakers from New England to the mid-Atlantic throughout the second quarter of the 19th century. The ring-turning detail on the legs is a reliably datable feature of this period and tradition. The deep dark mahogany patina throughout is authentic and irreplaceable. No maker's markings observed, consistent with American furniture production of the period. A genuine antique with real historical character — works as a nightstand, end table, or accent piece in traditional, eclectic, or maximalist interiors.
