Seller's Notes:Antique Late 18th Century / Mid Century German Prussian Chandelier Circa. 1880 - 1889 (mid-century restoration) Prussian pure brass eight-light Chandelier with a rare double eagle medallion. Scrolled arms, medallion, center piece, center screws, candle screws, hook & bottom hook ( 18th century ) . Neck, body, cups and candle holders ( Mid Century ) . Easily assembled and disassembled - all parts are 100% pure brass and magnet tested. Numbered 18th Century parts. Originally gas light but later adapted to run electrical wires. Electricity was first used in 1878 and not until 1882 homes began to use electricity. In Europe not until the 1930s electrical home systems were installed in majority homes. The Scrolled arms are tubed & hollow and all internal parts are hollow. The Original Patina was very aged, very dark brown and light green, a process of maybe 50 years. Please message me for any more information, details and pictures. Cleaning and polish is required twice a year for the best presentation. The light socket and candle holder size will be available for installation.
