Seller's Notes:Single, mid century modern compass chair attributed to Allan Gould. The angles, profile, lines are unlike any other. Has an added back frame for better support. Previously stained oak wood, fading, vintage. Knicks, scratches, discoloration appropriate to age. Circa 1950s. Newly upholstered with black & white checkerboard fabric, the same upholstery used in the Eames Lounge Chair. See Design Within Reach website. Seat is firm, not cushioned. Has been with the same owner for 2 generations until now! Use as office chair, dining or accent chair. Work of art!
