Seller's Notes:The Agave Dining Table is the signature table of ATRA, the Mexico City design studio founded by Swedish-born brothers Alexander and Andreas Díaz Andersson. The design merges Scandinavian minimalism with Mexican craft: a boat-shaped solid walnut top with beveled edges, carried on a sculptural painted-steel base inspired by the leaves of the agave plant. It is a large-format table, 2.8 meters long, that comfortably seats 10 to 12. The solid wood top is finished with natural oil and is designed to develop a patina over time rather than wear out, which was central to ATRA’s sustainability thinking for the piece. ATRA works out of a Mexico City studio alongside its own metalworkers and woodworkers, and came to international attention through Design Miami. Their pieces sell through design galleries and 1stDibs, where the Agave is listed as a made-to-order item with a lead time around 19 to 20 weeks. Buying this table secondhand means skipping that wait.

The sculptural steel base was inspired by the agave plant and the unique boat-shaped, beveled-edge top is available in both solid wood or stone finishes.
