78” Mid Century Modern 1960’s Sofa Couch Daybed

Seller's Notes:I’ve loved this and taken great care of it as the second owner and it’s time to pass it on. This is a mid century modern sofa couch that has the original upholstered cushions in a beautiful cobalt blue tweed (there is some minor fading from age, but it’s hard to see it as the fading is in areas that are under the other cushions). Ine side of the fabric is nubby (where we sat) the other side is perfect as it wasn’t sat on. The hardwood frame wraps around the back in a warm/dark walnut tone. The cane sides are original and in excellent condition. The slender tapered legs are all in great condition except for one that got nicked in my move - but, you can’t see it as it’s in the back. It has a solid wood base with arms, 2 slanted back cushions, and splayed legs. If you do a little search online, you’ll find variations of this couch. Most of them don’t have the canning in the anymore. Amd it’s rare to find the original fabric in this good of an it’s rare to find the original fabric in this good condition. Another thing I love about this couch is it’s not only durable but comfortable because of how the cushions sit on top of springs. (Photographed) Overall dimensions: 78″W x 32″D x 28.5″H.
